FORMER PLAYER WATCH
Every week we will be bringing you one player from the past. There will also be a weekly pole on who you think was the best player of a selected era.
This week we bring you Neil Grayson

Date of Birth: 1 November 1964 in York
Fomer club's:
Rowntree Mackintosh, Doncaster Rovers, York City, Chesterfield, Gateshead, Boston United, Northampton Town, Hereford United, Cheltenham Town, Forest Green Rovers, Stafford Rangers, Glapwell
Neil was signed by former boss Phil Robinson in 2004. He went on to become a club hero. He helped the club gain promotion to the Blue Square Premier scoring an impressive 12 goals back in the top flight of Non league football. His total appearances for the club stand at 170 whilst scoring 54 goals for the club.He also was joint caretaker Manager alongside Kevin Street during the 2007-2008 season after the resignation of Phil Robinson as manager and his assistant David Oldfield. He achieved all this whilst well into his 40's. Many of the boro faithful still believe he could do a job for the club even at the young age of 46. And so Neil Grayson fully deserves his hero status at Stafford Rangers. In fact he could have been still playing for the Boro today if anyone was to believe rumours of the Steve Bull era.
After leaving the Boro at the end of the 2007-2008 season he went on the captain Glapwell of the Pro Evo Stick Divison one south. After two season's with Glapwell he signed for fellow league league side Carlton Town who now sit in second place.
